The Center for Girls was founded on April 15, 1998, on the initiative of two volunteers of SOS Helpline for Women and Children Victims of Violence. The aim of its foundation was to improve the social position of young women through their education and emancipation.
THE MISSION of the Center for Girls is to empower children, girls and women through support, education, activism and creativity.
Laughing and socializing in nature
During the third hiking and recreational campaign organized by the Centre for Girls this week, we visited Nis Banja, along hiking trails we went to the village Koritnjak above the spa and on one of the sightseeing spots we made a picnic and enjoyed a beautiful environment.

The second action within the month of women's health and self-care was dedicated to Svrljiske Mountains and the ascent to the top of Gradac (1068 m). We started the action in Sicevo where we had come by bus.
A visit to Jelasnica Gorge and the ascent to Prozorac
In May - the month of women's health, the Center for Girls organized the first hiking and recreational action. The action started early; hikers came to Jelašnica with a local bus; they prepared for a walk and started the adventure.
