The Center for Girls was founded on April 15, 1998, on the initiative of two volunteers of SOS Helpline for Women and Children Victims of Violence. The aim of its foundation was to improve the social position of young women through their education and emancipation.
THE MISSION of the Center for Girls is girls' and young women's empowerment through education, activism and creativity.
We marked 2nd December - International Day for the Abolition of Slavery by holding protests signs, handing out pamphlets, and conversing with our fellow citizens in order to inform and educate them.
We love animals and we are aware of how many of them are in the streets, left to deal with the cold on their own - without any shelter whatsoever, so we decided to build a couple little houses for them out of cardboard.
