The Center for Girls was founded on April 15, 1998, on the initiative of two volunteers of SOS Helpline for Women and Children Victims of Violence. The aim of its foundation was to improve the social position of young women through their education and emancipation.
THE MISSION of the Center for Girls is girls' and young women's empowerment through education, activism and creativity.
Vagina's monologues empower girls and women
This February 14, the Center for girls again empowered girls and women by performing Vagina's monologues in the environment that is considered patriarchal and these topics are taboo topics.
Seventh Year of Women's Health Week
For the seventh year in a row, the Center for Girls celebrates Women's Health Week. This year you will be able to attend the Education for Girls and Women titled "Protect Yourself from Violence – Practical Education" that will be held on May 17 from 17.30-21.00 in the hall of SKC.
