The Center for Girls was founded on April 15, 1998, on the initiative of two volunteers of SOS Helpline for Women and Children Victims of Violence. The aim of its foundation was to improve the social position of young women through their education and emancipation.
THE MISSION of the Center for Girls is girls' and young women's empowerment through education, activism and creativity.
19 Years of the Center for Girls
On April 13, the Center for Girls celebrated 19th anniversary of its work together with its associates and activists.
The Second Fundraising Event at the Australian Embassy Residence
On Tuesday, March 7th, the Center for Girls successfully held a fundraising event for the second time. We were very pleased that the event was held at the Australian Embassy residence in Belgrade.
The First Regional Conference on the Problem of Human Trafficking
Towards the end of February 2017, the Center for Girls organized the first Regional Conference on the problem of human trafficking entitled "Only United Can We Stop Human Trafficking".
