The Center for Girls was founded on April 15, 1998, on the initiative of two volunteers of SOS Helpline for Women and Children Victims of Violence. The aim of its foundation was to improve the social position of young women through their education and emancipation.
THE MISSION of the Center for Girls is to empower children, girls and women through support, education, activism and creativity.

"Human Trafficking And The Youth" tribune, which we held at the Traffic And Technical School „ February12" in Niš, attended 73 young people and several teachers.
WOMEN'S MARCH - MARCH 8 2024
Association of Roma women Osvit and the Center for Girls walked the streets of Nis today. Fifty female activists and citizens participated in the Women's March, which was held in Niš on the occasion of March 8, International Women's Day. The Association of Roma Women Nada Aleksinac also joined the march.
PERFORMING "VAGINA MONOLOGUES" IN DIMITROVGRAD
Members of the Women Against Violence network (Center for Girls Niš, Women for Peace Leskovac, SOS Vlasotince, Independent Women's Center Dimitrovgrad) performed the reading performance "Vagina Monologues"in Dimitrovgrad yesterday.
