From Reporting to Protection: Institutions and Support for Victims of Violence

A panel discussion titled “From Reporting to Protection: Institutions and Support for Victims of Violence” was held at the Medijana Municipality Hall on November 28, 2025, organized by the Medijana Police Department, as part of the “16 Days of Activism Against Violence Against Women” campaign.

The speakers included: a representative of the Police Department / Medijana Police Station, a representative of the Group for Combating Domestic Violence (Criminal Police Department), a representative of the Center for Social Work / professional staff member, and Tatjana Nikolić – a representative of the NGO “Center for Girls,” who spoke on the topic: “Support for Victims – Community Resources,” including support services, empowerment programs, and the importance of reporting violence.

The audience included female students from the “Stevan Sremac” and “Bora Stanković” high schools.
