Preparing and Performing a Performance with Children

As part of the project “Carefree and Safe – Preventing Violence Against Children Who Live and Work/Beg on the Streets and/or Live in Poverty in Niš,” we organized creative workshops and collaborated on a performance carrying a powerful message – every child deserves a safe childhood.

The children had the opportunity to creatively express their thoughts, feelings, and experiences, while also sending a clear message about the importance of a life free from violence.

The process of working on the performance was just as important as the final presentation itself – it fostered self-confidence, a sense of belonging, and mutual support.

The final performance served as a powerful reminder that it is the responsibility of all of us to create an environment in which every child can grow up without fear, surrounded by respect, understanding, and safety.
