Second Part of the Training for Community Mediators

The second part of the training for community mediators was organized by the Center for Girls in Niš. The training covered the following topics:

  • who community mediators are
  • who community mediators are not
  • the most important skills of community mediators
  • fieldwork
  • initial conversations with women or families
  • the values underlying the work of a community mediator
  • setting boundaries

The training participants expressed their satisfaction with the way the trainer shared her experience and knowledge, as well as their belief that what they learned and heard during the training would be useful in their future work.
