SWISS GOVERNMENT SUPPORTTED CENTER FOR GIRLS’ PROJECT

The Center for Girls received support from the Swiss government and the Heartefact Fund for the implementation of the project “Improving Gender Equality through Engaged Art in Niš”.

The Center for Girls will work to promote gender equality and provide space and support for female artists to promote their work and explore topics of women’s human rights. At the same time, the project has the ambition to bring the issues of gender equality closer to the citizens of Niš through a rich spectrum of artistic content. Its main goal is to promote gender equality in the cultural life of Niš through engaged art.

This project was supported by the Swiss government, within the “Culture for Democracy” project, which is run by the Heartefact Fund. The opinions expressed in this project are those of the Center for Girls and do not necessarily represent the opinion of the Swiss government or the Heartefact Fund.
