Workshop on reproductive health

On the occasion of May 28 – the International Day of Action for Reproductive Rights and Women’s Health and the International Day of Menstrual Hygiene, a workshop on reproductive health was held at the School of Fashion and Beauty in Niš with first graders. 16 girls attended the workshop. The workshop participants were introduced to the Center for Girls and the Menstrual Justice Initiative before the start of the workshop.

Together we talked about menstruation, cycle, parts of cycle, contraceptives, HPV vaccine, cervical cancer, gynecological exam, morning after pill, etc.
In the second part of the workshop, we talked in more detail about the female internal and external genital organs, the cycle, parts of the cycle, fertile days, contraceptives and menstrual hygiene products.

At the end, they had the opportunity to take the materials. When asked if this workshop was useful for them, 14 out of 16 girls said yes.
