PROJECT „SAFE“ PRESENTED TO THE OFFICE FOR LOCAL ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

Representatives of the Center for Girls visited the Office for Local Economic Development and presented the project “SAFE: Empowering girls and women to feel safer in public places in Nis”.

Empowering self-defense workshops conducted as part of the project were presented, as well as the results of a survey on the safety of girls and women in public places in Nis.

The representative of the Office for Local Economic Development showed interest in the project and through a joint dialogue we discussed future steps in increasing the level of security in public places in Nis.

The meeting is realized within the project “SAFE: Empowering girls and women to feel safer in public places in Nis”. The project was supported by UN Women.
