For Health, Dignity, and Rights – May 28

Activists from the Girls’ Center, as part of the menstrual justice initiative, marked May 28 — “Menstrual Hygiene Day” and the “International Day of Action for Women’s Health and Reproductive Rights.” On this occasion, we spoke with women in Niš and distributed flyers, stickers, and menstrual pads.

The establishment of the menstrual justice initiative was supported through the joint project “Stop Violence – Achieve Equality,” implemented by UN agencies in Serbia — UNDP, UNFPA, UNICEF, and UN Women — in partnership with the Government of the Republic of Serbia, with the support of the Government of Sweden.
